Squirrels defender Takuro Nishimura has been commenting on the changes in approach brought about by the arrival at the club of new coach Robert Verbeek. "Training is very tough - I've never trained this hard in all my career," said the 29-year-old. "When Toshiya Miura was in charge, we tended to have lots of rest time, but Robert is very passionate about what he does and insists on total commitment all the time.
"He says things like, 'If you're not going to put 100% into training for every second, it's not worth doing it.' He's also told the players that if we all play at 100% throughout every match and still lose, it will mean that he has done something wrong and it's his fault we've lost."
