In the midst of a host of continuing transfer rumours, Omiya Ardija have confirmed that Hiroshi Morita's loan deal from Albirex Niigata has been made a permanent arrangement. Kyushu native Morita, 27, began his J-League career with Sagan Tosu in 2001, making his first real impression the following year when he scored fifteen goals in league and cup games for the J2 minnows. He subsequently moved to Niigata but was only ever a reserve forward at Big Swan - and so came to Omiya during 2004, when he notched up ten vital goals in the Squirrels' promotion campaign.
Squad member? Supersub? Who knows what the future holds for the legend that is Hiroshi Morita
