A rundown of somewhat arbitrary statistics from the Yahoo website, which doesn't include those players like Enilton and Salles who left the club mid-season. It also seems not to count red cards that come as the result of two yellows, which can be the only explanation as to why Takuro Nishimura doesn't have any showing in the Red Card category. Some oddities that jump out:
* Striker and top scorer Kota Yoshihara had fewer attempts on goal than defensive midfielder Yoshiyuki Kobayashi
* Wide midfield man Hayato Hashimoto had nineteen attempts on goal despite his lack of first-team opportunities throughout the year - more than forward Hiroshi Morita
* How on earth does a diminutive fellow like Chikara Fujimoto manage to get himself booked quite as often as he does?
